One more Croatian international will miss the friendly match with Switzerland.

HSV midfielder Milan Badelj has broken a bone in his left hand during the Bundesliga match with Werder Bremen and has been added to Croatia's injury list ahead of the friendly match with Switzerland in St. Gallen.

Badelj has his hand immobilized, and HSV medical staff will decide on a possible surgery.

The Croatian international has played the whole match, which HSV lost 1:0, with the lone goal scored by Junuzović in the 19th minute.

Due to injuries, Croatia has already lost Ivo Iličević, Igor Bubnjić and Niko Kranjčar for the Switzerland match, while head coach Niko Kovač approved Leon Benko's departure to China in order to settle at his new club.

Croatia is therefore left with 22 players in the squad, with 18 of them to travel to Switzerland. The friendly is scheduled for March 5th (20:30) a the AFG Arena in St. Gallen.
